AC3861E: Health Insurance not covered visa duration SAUDI ARABIA

Post new topic

gsesma

I am trying to get the visit visa extension thru absher for my father and mother in law ,that they are visiting me since september 2018. When they arrived they came with health insurance. after 3 months I request the visa extension and it was approved. I didn't notice that this policy was expired in december 2018. I noted this  today  when I started the process in absher. and I adquired a new health policy for them valid in saudi arabia, but when  I go to the system (absher) I see this message AC3861E: Health Insurance not covered visa duration. So I don't know what is that mean and what is the solution because their visa will expire march 23. any idea would be appretiated thank you

Salam

Just go to your nearest Insurance company. In our case, we went to Al Rajhi Takaful. The reason why "Health Insurance not covered visa duration" appeared is because we only renewed our health insurance for 31-60days coverage only. It wasn't enough for the 90days visa extension visa in Absher. So we went to Al Rajhi Takaful, have the initial 60days coverage cancelled and bought another 90days coverage. Then finally we we're able to extend our visa thru Absher.

Salam, I joined just so I could write this post, hopefully this helps someone who's desperately googling how to fix their issues when they get this error.

If your visa is ending you have 7 days to renew your health insurance and visa policy. You can't do it earlier and the latest you can do it is 3 days after your visa expires. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR NEWLY PURCHASED HEALTH INSURANCE HAS A LONGER DURATION THAN YOUR VISA EXTENSION POLICY. Example: if you're gonna extend your stay for 2 months buy your health insurance for 3 months. It's just way safer this way.

Apparently the way the insurance works (at least when I had to deal with it) is that they activate our insurance the VERY DAY we pay for it, regardless of the date we put in when purchasing. I bought my insurance 5 days before my visa expired and tried to renew my visa that night but got this error. Why? Because even tho I put the starting date as the day my visa expires (e.g. 5 may 2019) it still started 5 days earlier, on the date I bought it (30th April 2019)! Infuriating!! And the Al-Rajhi people I called and visited at their office were useless. The Jawazat people were even more useless and RUDE. So I hope no one else has to deal with them. Ever.

Also if you're running out of time and you are becoming increasingly desperate, you can buy a new insurance like I did. Yeah you'll have 2 insurances but changing the original one can take up to 3 working days and when I went to their office they kept bouncing me from place to place. They kept telling me it was all OK from their end but I kept facing problems.

TL;DR- always get a longer insurance date than the duration you're going to stay to be safe

I am in the same position Just got renewed one month and now stuck, want to get another insurance, is it fine to have two insurance at a time, which one new you made and how much cost and time it took.!

Yes it's fine to have 2 insurances at one time, just make sure the duration of the insurance is longer than your stay. I got Al-Rajhi, it was around 50 riyal for one month I think. You can get the insurance online but I think it was also recommended that I go to the insurance office and buy from them in person cos then you can make them key in the information correctly and straight away.

Dears I had the same problem first i paid for insurance for 1 month extend then I go to Absher but not extended then I bought again insurance but the same thing happened I called alrajhi takaful helpline, sent mails visited offices but all found useless and just 2 days remained of my family's visa expiration.  then i took last chance and buy again alrajhi takaful for 3 moths and Alhamdulillah I have got successful...Alhamdulillah ...

That's really annoying..ist I bought alrajhi on 13/7/19 while visa expiry date was 1/8/19..didn't extended without any reason..on 26th july I purchased another alrajhi insurance but not updated in cchi, then I purchased arabian shield and updated in cchi but visa didn't extended..finally I went to jawazat this morning nd they extended..I already extended for my mother, wife and daughters but stuck in 8months old son..I think it was may b due to my mistake that I purchased insurance early...but at the end I will say Alhumdulillah..nd congratulations to also...now cchi shows 4insurances for my son..one that of travel, one arabian shield and three alrajhi takaful..I wonder how they  r showing  3alrajhi coz I paid for 3only...on 13/7 and 26/7...26/7 they updated today due to some one known to me...but I useless coz I already extended via jawazat...
