I require one room apartment/indepdndent room for one year from 1 May2019 to 30 April2020.
I shall be at GISMA Business School Hannover for my Master .
What is reliable source of looking for accommodation at Hannover

You should also check Quoka and Ebay Kleinanzeigen.
However, it is basically impossible (and also not advisable) in Germany to rent a place without being physically here and having viewed the place. Therefore you should book a hotel, hostel or short-term apartment for the initial weeks and start your search from there.

Sorry, but there is no English version.
You need to find a German-speaking friend anyway for rental contract negotiations etc.
