Hello. I'm trying to deposit the check from U.S Treasury Department for my tax return. I have a bank account at Vietcombank. Does anyone know or have experience before? Thank you!

I just did the same thing. I couldn't find any bank to deposit it except Citibank in HCMC or Ha Noi. They required a one year visa and a deposit of 100 million VND to open and deposit the check. The money will be available in 30 days

actually I'm from Vietnam. Just that I used to work in the U.S till last year of 2018. Closed all my bank accounts in the U.S and now I'm in vietnam trying to deposit the check
