Hello
I'm an expat and living in KL with my wife for the past few months. I'm searching for medical insurance packages which cover pregnancy expenses as well .I couldn't find it online was it mentions only pregnancy complication only and not the entire expense.
.can someone give me an idea on how much it'll cost for a pregnancy here for expats ?
Are the government and semi government hospitals good , what will be the cost ?
Can I get Indian doctors here ?
I'm near brickfields and looking for a list of government and semi government hospitals near this area.

Gravitas

Did you check Prudential and Allianz?

There are no semi government hospitals its either private or government. However foreigners can use government hospitals but costs are higher than for Malaysian citizens

The cost of delivering depends on the number of beds in the ward. Usually there are packages offered by hospitals. Anti natal care is separate charged by the obstetrician

There are plenty of Indian doctors in Malaysia some who will have trained overseas.

Thanks, Gravitas.

Yes, i checkd Prudential and Allianz, they don't have a package for pregnancy as such. it's only for the complication.

Can someone give me an idea on how much  it'll cost in Govt and private hospitals?

Gravitas

If you want a specific costing for a private hospital look at the hospital website or contact them.  This gives some idea
