Travel to Romania

Post new topic

Wojtek_B

Good Afternoon,

My name is Wojciech Bobilewicz (Mr), and I live in Warsaw, Poland.

I am planning a car trip to some European countries in July, including the beautiful country of Romania. I will be travelling by car, and most likely will both enter and leave Romania from/in the east (to Hungary).

In this connection, I would like to enquire about the following:

1. What are the traffic/road/car requirements and regulations,m what are the main traffic rules in Romania that I should follow (such as headlights on/off during daylight, first aid kit, a fire extinguisher, a video registrator etc.)?

2. What documents do I need for my dog to enter Romania without any issues?

3. Is there any list/repository of accommodation available which accepts dogs (it is a small dog, the regions I am mostly interested in are Sinaia/Busteni and the Bucegi Mountains - although I may need to sleep somewhere also on my way to/from one of those cities - and accommodation doesn't have to be in 5, 4 or 3-star hotels, it can be cheaper accommodation or stay with families etc.)?

My stay in Romania is foreseen to be 10-14 days.

I would be immensely grateful for your assistance in this regard.

Mulţumesc
