Regarding citizenship by naturalisation check

Application for Citizenship Under Article 19 Of The Federal Constitution – Aged 21 Years And Older

https://www.jpn.gov.my/en/maklumat-warg … tau-lebih/

Fred

The applicant has resided in the federation for a period of not less than 10 years in a period of 12 years, including the 12 months immediately preceding the date of application.

The options to live in Malaysia include by applying for Permanent Residency (after 5 yrs in Malaysia) or through the Malaysia my 2nd Home (mm2h) programme.

The shortest application time is via the mm2h programme and should in future take about 4-5 months.

www.mm2h.gov.my

It is not possible to be employed  or work on the mm2h visa but the holder can be a business owner in an advisory capacity and take profits rather than a salary.

The PR by high net worth requires a bank account with equivalent of usd 2 million to be held on a fixed deposit in a Malaysian bank for a period of 5 yrs before the application can be made.

There are just under 1 million Muslim Indians in Malaysia

To be clear, it is only an option to apply for Permanent Residency after 20 yrs when on mm2h visa.
