Post new topic

Hello everyone

I have visa italy (type D) 180 days and it is still valid until june , and I want to travel to Portugal these days , so my question is :
If I go to SEF office after reaching portugal , will they give the stamp of (entrada legal) legal entrance with this type of visas ?
Thank you so much

Holders of Schengen type D visas are permitted to circulate freely in Schengen countries other than the issuing one for a period of not more than 90 days per half-year and only if the visa is valid. You can also find this on the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website:
https://www.esteri.it/mae/en/servizi/st … urata.html

Since Portugal is a Schengen country, you could visit Portugal as long as the conditions described above apply.

As for SEF, if you have any questions for them, you can find their contact details on the website: https://www.sef.pt/en/Pages/homepage.aspx
