"erweiterte Meldebescheinigung"/ Meldebescheinigung?

Hi guys, can someone tell me the difference between "erweiterte Melde Bescheinigung" and "Meldebescheinigung"?
Thanks.

TominStuttgart

Erweiterte means in addition. Thus it is a proof of registration that gives some additional information than a simple registration (Meldebescheigung). It can be required by different offices for things like getting married or visa renewal. One simply takes their passport or ID to the city office, pays,  and gets it. The difference between the 2 is irrelevent for you, just relevent for the office demanding it. I'm not sure if the cost is the same everywhere but it should be similar; in Stuttgart it is € 12. I thought you were married to a German, so not sure why you would have to ask something so simple here?
