Hi ,
I am shifting to Belfast in August 19 to work as a post doctoral research fellow
In a few months my wife and 2 kids aged 3years 6 months(presently in nursery) and 8 years (grade 3)plan to join me.I checked that admission process for this session is already over.So is there any provision to admit migrant kids mid term in govt schools?I have mailed the ea directly too ,hope will get a response soon. Will plan their migration accordingly to prevent academic year loss for my elderkid.Academic session in india is from june to may.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Shouldn't be a problem; the UK is used to dealing with expat kids.

Hope this helps.
