Well I just got to riyadh yesterday for a month or so and I'm staying right by failaliah tower.  So a couple quick questions.

1.  Is the faisaliah mall (and most others) only open with family hours on weekends?

2.  I need food suggestions.  What eateries can I walk to besides the mall for food?  Are there any grocery stores nearby?  I know I could just go wander, but it is hot and I'm tired, so I thought asking here might be more efficient.

Okay, you better start paying up with those pennies for them thinkers.

I didnt get your first question quite clear, family hours? what you might of meant is that since weekends are family days, would they allow you to go to the food court, right? well yes they should, and especially if you live there. plus families have their own eatin area, so your cool.

yes there are a few places you could go to fer shoping and there are options other than the ones in your Faisaliah Food court.
they would be on the same extension of Olaya Road towards the north. you can walk to some in less the 20 minutes.

if you want a feller to show you around, your more than welcome to ask ;) just drop me a personal message.

Fortunately, I am only offering pennies and nothing bigger...

Hm, so now I'm confused on family days.  I was thinking single men were not allowed in then.  So I still can eat in the food court, but can I also still shop?

I may have to take you up on your offer.  I want to explore, but just wandering around alone, sorta gets boring for me.

starving is better than eating here,am pointing at the how clean and healthy most of the restaurants are, and there are many utube videos that support that , but here are some good places to eat at:

steak house : as it offers a full salad buffet which and some main healthy meals

IKEA : the restaurant is rich with cheap great meals like salamon , plus if u get tired u can go to the bedroom section to sleep xD

Atika or atiga store: is the biggest local market for vegetables , raw chiken , and fruits , has the cheapest and legit healthy ingredients if u are willing ot make ur own meal , u can get the ingredients from any super market, but ur going to compromise the price and the purity.

the fitness world or something { big green apple sign }: offers daily delivered healthy meals to ur house/work .

Al ajami : near tahliya, has a open buffet and great libanese or arabic cooked meals

Ammouna: delivers the most delicious chicken / meat dishes

last but not least , i could deliver to u a home made healthy meal , i'll give u a discount and make the dish for 99999999999999999999999999999999 USD each ^^

PS faisaliya mall: u can get inside if the guy watching the intrance let u , just talk to him or beg or lie by telling him u have a business lunch ;P
