I think this may be of interest to some of my fellow expatriates who do not wish to stay long here or who may wish to be conveniently mobile. I can advise you on how and where to hire a car for your convenience at a very cheap rate. Those whose resources are not sufficient enough should opt for buses rather than taxis. Bus fare around KL is usually 2 MR against that of taxi which is not below 15 MR.

how many buses do u need to go from one point to another?

i dont think it is realistic to rely only on buses in KL...train and taxi are a relatively cheap alternative...and taxi fare starts at 3RM for first 800 meters or 1km...
