Dear All,

I am a Filipina.  I have a job offer in Qatar and waiting for the business visa.  I am positive in Hepatitis B screening.  My questions are:

1.  Can I work as a receptionist/secretary in a car industry?
2.  I heared that they will allow me to work unless I will not work in food industry.  Is it legit?

Please need your advices, and if anyone can share their experiences, please message me Asap.  Thank you in advance.

i don't think so you can work nor the government can issue a "fit to work" certificate that is necessary to obtain a Qatar ID. neither it is in food industry nor other field it doesn't  matter you  will still need to go to medical here in Qatar.

You mean they (the government) will not issue a fit to work? Will they deport me?  Thank you!

i think they will send you home if you cannot have QID or residence permit here.

As the previous poster said.

On point 2 as listed by you; I think you are confusing Qatar and UAE.  UAE allows you to work with Hep B if you are not working in 6 professions (food services, education, salons etc) but no other GCC country allows for that.
