Hello,

I wish to inquire about living and working in Norway. I am a Nigerian resident in Malaysia and just completed my Msc degree in Electronics and wish to relocate. I desire to live and work in Norway with my wife who is also an Msc degree holder in Occupational Safety and Health Management. I will appreciate your good responses as regards living, working, how conducive the environment is for family and visa procedures to live legally in Norway. Thanks as I look forward to your advise and suggestions.
Regards

hi,

Norway is very family friendly, with an extensive network of daycares, workplace policies that help maintain balance, and lots of play spaces and activities.

for visa procedures, here is information for citizens of Nigeria:

Thanks so much for this information. I have looked through the link you shared and will love to live there on study grounds which I consider perfect for me considering my status as a student here in Malaysia. This is just my views, although I still welcome other suggestions.
Pls, Can you suggest Cities/Universities that are affordable and not expensive for foreigners. In addition, on average which city is more affordable and well suited for family and getting a job as well? I am more concerned with have a peaceful and decent life while I figure how to get jobs to keep the family going. This is my concern. I need your advise. I look forward to hearing from you

I don't really have any experience with cost of study or cost of living outside Oslo because I've really only lived here (and in Drammen). Clearly, if you don't live in Oslo, your living expenses will be lower. But living in Oslo means you have far more study and work opportunities.

I live near the city center in Oslo with two young children and we very much enjoy living here. But my husband and I both work full time so our income is clearly higher than if one of us were studying.

This is really helpful and encouraging. I will give it try and hoping everything goes well. I appreciate the fact you live a good life, this is exactly what I seek. I will search other universities to seek admission. I really appreciate your kind advice, should you have another idea that will be helpful, pls share always. Thank you

Your wife can consider to try to apply for position in DNV.  This is a company which hire a lot of foreigners.  She can google the website.  Maybe there is a DNV company in Malaysia and she can start working there...then internally transfer to Oslo office.
