Hi all,

If you had a decent budget and wanted a 3 bedroomed place, with pool and garden in a quality area and not too far from the beach and still commutable to Ebene - where would you go?

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Kind regards and many thanks :)

Julien

Flic en Flac or Tamarin maybe ?

Anyway, you are never far from the sea in Mauritius :)

Without a shadow of a doubt, Tamarin. It's absolutely lovely here! Feel free to drop us a line if you need any more info.

All the best,

Thanks for the suggestions - looks like Tamarin or maybe Flic en Flac - we really are not sure :(

My husband is on his way back to the UK now and he tells me each property he has seen in both of the above area's - the areas and surroundings have been lovely just the properties not what we are looking for..

So we think that maybe we will rent somewhere for one month while we are looking - it is so difficult looking at properties online especially if you do not know the area's very well.

It has now been confirmed we are coming and I seem to have 1001 questions running around my head and a 1001 things to do :(

Thank you all for your advice I am sure I will be asking many more questions :)

Also forgot to add:

He has been taken around the Island over the weekend and he noted that everywhere he went the people were lovely and friendly and hospitable regardless of their nationality.
