I am looking at Toledo, Cuenca and Murcia for a retirement rental for a 6 month to a year for me and my wife. a two bedroom in the center of the historic town.

I would appreciate any positive and negative feedback. I am from California, Mexican born and speak
Spanish.

Hello, you will find climate very similar to California in Murcia (and oranges!), the other two cities are colder and far away from the sea. To rent an apartment in the city center you will find good condition from 400 to 800 euros a month (with parking, 2-3 br). You have a lot of historical places around (Cartagena, Lorca, Alicante, Caravaca) and gastro and cultural life https://www.murciaturistica.es/en/city_culture/
