Teaching questions

mutual10062

I have 40 years college teaching experience. I taught chemistry for most of those years. I have a bachelor of science degree in education, had completed almost all of my class work for a master of arts in personnel and guidance and have a graduate degree in chemistry and another in nuclear physics. I am 87 years old, but most people think I am in my late fifties because of my mental sharpness and physical appearance. I am married to a Chinese lady. Am I correct in assuming my age would restrict me from teaching in China even though I do not appear to be even close to my actual age?

I am sure that you would be able to teach.

However, you would not be able to teach legally. The cutoff age for a new Z-visa is 55. It is 60 for Z-visa renewals.

I wish that I could tell you something more positive, but the law is strict and it is applied evenly. Best Regards.
