Hallo!

My name is Anna and I wanted to go to China with my boyfriend in February for about 6 months.

My boyfriend will work in Jinan in an big company and I really wanted to enjoy with him this great live experience.  I really want to work in China but I can not speak chines. My mother tongue is German and my english is about C1. One opportunity could be, working in a school as a German teacher but I have no connections. And the biggest problem, I am no bachelor.

I finished the A level and than I startet to work as an confectioner and I am making the highest exam level, the master of confection. But I can't t finde any job offer for pastry in an hotel or a Cafe shop in Jinan.

Can somebody please help me?

With the best greeds

Anna

You have five months to learn Chinese. I would advise you to get started. There is a pretty decent internet resource that I used to use called CHINESE POD. It helped be. You will not be able to become fluent. I've been in China for over 15 years and I am still having trouble.

Pay the money. Learn Chinese.

Don't fool yourself. You will have a difficult time getting by without having the basics in day to day conversation.

The good news is that the sentence structure is super easy....

Dinner delicious. My tummy is big.
Bathroom. Where?
Ride in car. Road bumpy. Was.

The bad news is that you need to learn tones, and that takes practice. Also it is far easier to learn to speak than trying to learn to read. Stick to speaking Chinese. You will do fine.
