Golden Visa

hello all!  I am new to the forum. I am looking at properties in the Algarve. I am an american.  I have found two different laywers that have differening answers regarding if the property can include or not include renovations to meet the $350k amount for residency.  Has anyone applied recently and gotten residency for Golden Visa for property that is older then 30 years to rehabilitate that I can discuss with?

I am also looking for an accountant to discuss capitol gains information for portugal.

As well as an expat lawyer/accountant.  Any help appreciated!

Hi
I'm currently working to join the program of golden visa by investment
I did chose the cheapest option which is 280 K EU by sharing a rehabilitation of old building with other shareholders
I already transferred my fund to Portugal and procedures are on going
I'm not an expert but as per my research that the purchase a house investment of 350 K EU should't include renovation , maybe you can contact a lawyer how can give you the proper answer
Regards and good luck

Have you considered contacting one of the big financial and tax advisor companies like BDO. I assume that they are confronted with these isses on a daily basis and they definitely have staff speaking English. I think it is worth giving this a try.
