Resignation Question

gustabass

Dear All,

I submitted my resignation letter to my current company over two months ago and to this day I have not received confirmation of termination.  Does anyone know if the company is required to accept my letter and shut me down immediately?

Btw notice period was fulfilled already. The letter included notice period dates and it was only sogned by myself.

This delay might impact on my next WP. Has anyone being in this situation? Any advices are welcome.

Regards

Hi,

Has the letter of resignation been sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt?

If yes, in this case, it is sufficient to provide the proof to the labor inspectorate to ask for their assistance in order to formalize the end of the contract.

If not, in this case, according to the law, for the employer your contract still continues.

I just wonder why you don't make a call to your current company to ask?
