French Lessons for Adult beginners

Bonjour!

Does anyone know if a one-on-one coaching is better than going to a french institute as adult ? What are the differences between the two? I live about 20-25minutes away from central flacq, I haven't found anyone close by that would teach the lesson for starters. I know one in Port Louis which is quiet far from where I stay. Four bus ride everyday is a challenge especially the institute will start during hot season.

You can find online courses to help you!

Thank you, Alisa. There are quiet a lot online, but Im not sure which one has better techniques of teaching.

Are you looking at more conversational ones or focused on writing as well?

GuestPoster268

I want both 😊

Let me revert back on this with some links and tips on how to go about this.

I am in this booth too, looking for both not just for conversation I mean it will be of no use just talking a language and not able to put it down in writing

Exactly! Especially I am very particular about the spelling. Otherwise I will not have the full understanding of the word itself. And also I want to see the difference between the spelling of the word versus the pronunciation.

Thank you Alisa 😀

Hi all,

I subscribed to the course on http://www.jefrench.com/basic-french-lessons, it was quite helpful as it had both written exercises, with pronunciation practice.
Duolingo as a phone app is great too..
Hope that helps..

Thanks I will check it out

Thanks for your suggestions..I have found somebody who can teach me one on one. A bit far but its worth a try. We'll see what happens.
