Any Paramedics around?

Hello! I am trying to find out about cross certification as an EMT or Paramedic in Malta. Are ambulance jobs strictly volunteer or are there paid positions? I would like to see if working part time until I retire there is an option. I have reached out to a couple companies there but have gotten any responses. So any advice or help would be great! Thanks

I would think it’s not easy to get a job as an ambulance driver if you are not local,also as a paramedic you may need to speak Maltese as well.
