Depends on what sports you are looking for. and also what sort of crowd do you expect.
I know that there are so many sports clubs who do not have a problem in giving expats memberships and they have decent facilities- pool, squash courts, tennis courts, tt room, weight room, sauna, etc.

Just try them out.
