hi all,

As promised, i will share my experience for the entire application process.

Background:
Boyfriend (Sponsor) - Swedish nationality
Me, female- British (Overseas) nationality

We were in long distance relationship for 9 months.  Then we lived in London together for 5 months.
Then we were in long distance relationship for another 6 months before we moved to The Netherlands together. We were together for 11 months at the time we applied for Verification against EU Law.

Timeline:
end of March 2019
We moved to The Netherlands together.  He is EU citizen, relocate with a job relocation offer.  I enter as a tourist, no visa required.

beginning of April 2019
We registered in Gementee and applied for BSN

Mid of April 2019
We went to IND in Utrecht and tried to apply for Verification against EU Law.  But we were told my sponsor (my bf) has to have the BSN first.  So we waited until we have the BSN number.

end of April 2019
We both have the BSN number.  We made a new appointment on 13 May 2019 in Utrecht again.  We chose Utrecht just becoz they have the earliest appointment space.

13 May 2019
We submitted the form, together with all evidences we could provide.  For example travel tickets and photos.  social media photos with friends and family.  Social media common friends.  Official letters, pay slips and correspondences when we lived together in London.  We also provided bank statement showing we always spend money around the area, and travel card history to prove we physically lived there.  Better if you have joint bank account.  I do not know what exactly document they need, we just provided whatever we could provide.

We only lived together for 5 months but we weren't challenged by the "live together for 6 months" requirement.

I got the residence endorsement sticker on the same day, allowed me to work.

Then I got a letter few days later, as a confirmation for my application.  A "V-nummer" and "Zaaknummer" is given on the letter.

May - end of October 2019
Zero update, no letter, no email, nothing received.  Just need to be patient

29 October 2019
Received a letter from the officer handing my case.  The letter said I am a British so I do not have to apply for this.  I have to withdraw my application with 14 days.  This is not true.  I am British (overseas), different from British citizen.  I called to clarify and email them all my identity document.  The officer said she has to speak to management and discuss my case.

11 November 2019
So far no response so I called the officer.  My residence endorsement sticker will expire on 13 Nov 2019 so I need to know asap.  She said she has sent me a letter on 7 Nov.  However, I moved to a new place on 7 Nov.  I have already updated my address by DigiD in end of Oct.  They still missed it.  I asked her to email me the letter since I am very eager to know.  My sticker is expiring.  She did.  My letter said the result is positive.  BRP will be prepared.  They will send me another letter for the collection.

13 November 2019
Received the letter telling me my BRP is ready to be collected in Amsterdam.
The queue is very long the earliest appointment is mid DEC.    You cannot choose where to collect the BRP.

Additional Info.
Since my endorsement sticker has expired.  And i have to go to London for several days before I can collect my BRP.  I booked an appointment to extend the sticker until the date I can collect my BRP.  However, this is not necessary.  You could bring the collection letter with you, or actually custom can see in the system.  I just want to avoid any possible hassles so I get a new one.

However, if you still haven't received a letter for the result and your sticker has expired.  You have to extend the sticker.

My experience is make sure all your document is apostilled or legalized / translated according to requirement.  My case I dont need to translate they are in English, but I had to apostille. The officers were nice and helpful.  They tend to trust your relationship rather than trying to challenge you.  But of coz base on the evidence you submitted.  The process is up to 6 months, so basically if you can get the sticker, by the time the decision comes, you should have lived together for 6 months in the Netherlands anyway.  Basically this shouldn't be a problem.  Also, I was told on phone by my officer, i need to have a job to sustain my living in order to stay here.  Both my bf and me have a full time work contract.  So this is not a problem for me.

I hope my experience and timeline is useful.  Everything should be subject to IND's decision and advice. Good luck to all applicants.
