Let me get this straight, you are renting a property and the tenant is not paying?
If this is the case, I would go and see a lawyer.

Not speaking fluent french etc dont help, if I could cut my losses without throwing any more good money after bad would prefer that tbh. At least for now getting good karma maybe for providing free housing to some poor soul.

I hope you have sorted out that issue already.
Getting rid of a tenant that don't pay the rent can be quite complicated in France.
If the person is still in your flat you should plan to take a legal action in March (between November and March ) you can not send anyone on the street.
