Hi there
Was wondering if someone could help me with a couple of questions please.
I’m wanting to marry my fiancé that is Romanian and currently living in Romania but I’m from South Africa and going over in February to get married there. My question is do I need to come back to South Africa to get a spouse visa to remain over there or can I apply within Romania for the visa without having to come back?

You can apply (for permis de sedere membru familie cetatean roman, valid for 5 years) after getting your marriage certificate, while here. No need to go back.

@Shazzdeb25 You can come to Romania on Visit/Tourism Visa and can marry with your fiance, after that you will have marriage certificate then you have to go back to your country and apply for Long term visa (Family).
Romania don't issue Permis de Sedere (Residence Permit) on short Visa.
