Can Vonage be used from a hotel room

From my experience with my husband using an internet connection at a hotel, I'll say it might not be very functional.  We had an awful connection on SKYPE, and non whatsoever for MagicJack (another VoIP thing we bought in the US).  So, don't expect high speed internet at hotels to be very "high speed".  It's a different story once you get a land line and DSL!  Good Luck!

The vonage will work if the hotel has an internet cable which you plug into the vonage box.

If the hotel has wifi you cannot use Vonage.

Internet is significantly more expensive than UK and therefore it might not be cost effective for you to use vonage from a hotel room.

Both Skype and vonage work well.

the hotel net connections are usually slow, and also intermittent depending on the place you stay. I stayed at a really good 4 * place, even though the net was available, it took ages to get anything done and it was really really slow.
And since most hotels have wifi, they usually dont have the access ports for the wired connection.

Most of the Voips that are available do work but it all comes down the speed and the quality of the net line.
