Hello All,

I'm from Albanian and thinking of applying for jobs in Bahrain, but I want to see it first as a tourist in order to have an idea of how it works.

We don't have a Bahrain Embassy in Albania and we are not on any country list for visas. I found out that they are sponsors like Hotels that do the procedure of the visa but I have to take a signed letter from a local Bahrain Company, which I don't have. I just know one person in Bahrain but he does not own a company.

Does anybody know what to do in that case. Does anybody know companies that give that kind of service, a tourist visa? And also do you know companies that hire Albanians?

This bit is irrelevant.  Companies can hire expats from any nationality if they are qualified and there is a need.

For tourist visa, google for document clearing agencies.  Call them and ask if they can do a sponsored visa.  Other options would be gulf air, if you book a ticket with them and hotels (4-5 star ones), if you stay with them.

Hi Adalm

Are you trying to come to Bahrain on a visiting visa first and then later on change to employment visa? or only visiting first?

AdaLM

hello,

Yes, first I want to visit Bahrain and then make a decision if I can and work there.
In the meantime I'm searching what kind of jobs do they post, the companies etc , but most of them want candidates that already live in Bahrain.
Does anybody know websites that post jobs for foreigners and undertake the work visa procedures?

Thank you

Hi,

You could start by visiting our classifieds sections
www.expat-blog.com/en/classifieds/middle-east/bahrain/

Apart from that you could visit the various job portals and register with them like Monstergulf, bayt, naukri, gulfconnexions or go through the daily news paper classifieds section (http://www.gdnmarketplace.com/category/jobs/)

LinkedIn would also be a good platform to start with.

good luck.
