Hi all,

Newbie on the Cook Islands forum? Don't know how to start?

This thread is for you ;)

We invite you to introduce yourself on this topic, to share with us your expat story if you are already living in the country, or to tell us more on your expat projects in the Cook Islands if you are planning to move there.

It will enable us to help you better but above all to wish you a warm welcome.

Welcome on board!

Hi,

My name is Adriana and my husband Marc and I are looking to relocate to Rarotonga with our two daughters (13 and 4) within the next year hopefully.

I am originally from Armenia but grew up in Sweden before moving to the UK at the age of 21 where I met Marc.
Marc is an Irish citizen and lived in Auckland, NZ for 12 years growing up.

I come from a mainly corporate banking background and Marc's career is in IT.

We are currently looking at purchasing a business on the island so we can bring our children up in the island lifestyle, far away from the rat race.

We would love and appreciate any information or comments to make our journey towards becoming residents of Rarotonga a little bit easier.

Many thanks in advance.

Marc, Adriana, Neala and Devon
