Does anybody know how long can one drive with the Canadian drivers license in Barbados or do we need to get an international license and if so, how long is that good for?

When you rent a car, the car hire companies will give you 3 months on a permit, as long as you have a drivers license from anywhere, and the permit is only $10 barbados. If you have a rental car for longer, the company will work it out with you. So no worry. If yo have a personal vehicle, you will need to go down to licensing and get an anual license there.
