Be prepared to lose a day or two, if you do not have the necessary paperwork and someone who knows Greek to speak for you.
Pick carefully your bank by convenience and proximity to your home.
Always order a debit card along with Internet banking, if you know how to use a mobile phone. It will be handy in time.
Piraeus  bank gives you the card and internet access codes on the same day.
You can try to change your PIN number at the ATM, but always check that the new PIN works , before you throw away the old one.

Thankyou for this information, visiting a bank here and how you feel about the outcome of that visit will often depend on luck,by way of the member of staff sitting behind the desk at that particular moment you place your derriere on the chair in front of them and often one can think..oh please no,not this member of staff,Im done for..I have received some great help and understanding in some Greek banks but some who shall not be named here are disgraceful and need to clean up their act, better staff management and lots of warnings to them so that they dont continue bad behavior until the end of time.
