i received a letter from police
(enquete de moralité)
(character investigation)

i dont understand what is this? and why?

two and half months ago I asking for citizenship so the police are calling me...
Or some other issue ?

I think it's a check about your criminal record to verify that you're not a dangerous people and never did anything wrong.

To be eligible to become a Belgian citizen, you'll have to proof that you've never did any serious crime, and so, criminal record will be needed + I guess few questions through that paper.

You'll have to copy the letter if you want a translation if you can't do it by yourself (remove personal data! or by PM)
