First things first. Hello denizens of Bergen! I am moving my family from the U.S. to your wonderful town in late July. Just to make things interesting we (well, my wife really) had a child about a month ago. Just to make things even more interesting we are bringing our dog. My employer has temporary housing for us but we need to board our pup for a few weeks until we obtain permanent housing. Anybody know of dog boarding kennels in Bergen? Many thanks.

P.S. Sorry to post in "Networking", but I noticed that no one was posting over in "Pets" so....

Hi Stefans, We need to board our cat in July and I have phoned every boarding place in Bergen and they are already full! (Almost all Norwegians take their vacations in July). You might have some luck in August. Here is a list of places in Bergen provided by the Animal Shelter:

If you don't speak Norwegian, "Katt" is cat and "hund" is dog (both are listed on this website).

Good luck!
