Good morning, all. I am looking to buy/borrow books in English. I can read in French, of course, but I prefer to read for pleasure on my mother tongue.

Libraries? Bookstores?

Thank you.

I live in the north and in the FNAC at Duparc Sainte Marie they have a small selection of books in English (see photo from last November at https://photos.app.goo.gl/3J9ghVzaPHWC8p1X8). It could be the same in the FNAC nearest where you live (the larger the better). But you might have to ask as because there's not a lof of demand the books are often "hidden" and not very obvious.

Thank you. I'm in the West for the moment.

Ah books in English!

I have found that most public libraries have an English section. Also check out the expat groups on Facebook as people sometimes advertise sales of books.

I have a little pile of English novels I'm done reading and would be happy selling on for a small price.

Thanks

Cheryl

Hello staceynel,

If you want to sell your books, you can do it here; Reunion Island classifieds > Books.  ;)

Cheers,
