Moving companies from US Mainland to PR?

Post new topic

Hello happy expats.

We are planning our move from Florida to Palmas Del Mar in April and I am wondering if any one has recommendations on moving companies.  We I’ll need movers to load and unload on both ends.

Thank you,
Danielle

I tried using Rosa del Monte. They turned out to be horribly disorganized and they misled me on for than one occasion regarding pickup dates. I finally gave up on them.. You might try contacting Crowley and seeing if they move furniture. I know they ship boxes and cars. They shipped my car and everything went off without a hitch. But, Rosa del Monte was a disaster.

Thank you.  All of the reviews we have seen on Rosa seem to be one extreme or the other. Very good or very bad.  I am currently awaiting quotes/estimates from Santa Fe Relocation and Upack It.  I will look into Crowley.

Thanks again!

They are either very good or very bad because they use contractors, not their own trucks/employees. So, for example, they didn't  want to send a contractor to Naples FL to pick up my stuff until there was another person who wanted to move from Naples.. Ridiculous! I could end up waiting for months in the unlikely coincidence someone else from Naples was moving to P.R. And I agreed to pay the extra fee for them to drive to Naples. They still wouldn't come! And, they wouldn't let me make two trips to drop off my stuff with them in Miami since my stuff could not fit into one trip. Argumentative and unyielding idiots.

Thanks for the info.

In case anyone else is looking, the mover that partners with this website is Santa Fe Movers.
