Hi.

I will be moving to Nairobi in August and my office is in Hurlingham. Can you people guide me about school (my daughter is in grade 1) and 1-2 room apartment in Hurlingham and rent for 1-2 room apartment.

I hope members living in Nairobi will tell you more about schools. As for your apartment i would suggest you to post an advert in the accommodation section of Nairobi classifieds.

cost of 1-2 bedroom apartment between 40000-80000kshs.
you can check riara group of schools

Hi Deeb, thanks for your reply. Through web pages, i have checked some paaprtment and got one in Hurlingham fully furnished 500 GBP per month, for one bed room.

Kilimani is a better place to live, in my opinion. There are a few good schools relatively close by (Lavington); Braeburn (UK Curriculum) and Strathmore School spring to mind. Kilimani is half way between Hurlingham and Lavington. The only issue is the traffic, if you are intending to do the school run yourself.
