Hello all..I will be relocating to KL from USA with my family of 4. I have 6 and 12 year old kids. right now i am trying to decide on the international schools but would really appreciate your reviews on the schools. we are trying to live near Bangsar or Damansara and would love to find schools near that location. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Alice Smith school is not too far from Bangsar and Mont Kiara International School is pretty close to Damansara.

I dont know if there was ever a rating system for schools because expats didnt likely have the chance to enroll in all of them to know the differences. Mostly they were concerned about location and prices. I assume there is a basic quality standard they are adhering to but you can contact individual schools and ask questions about the aims of the school, background of teachers, subjects covered, languages spoken, etc. Do you have specific questions that need to know about schools or quality before you can decide?
