Experience in Takoradi

Post new topic

CMuggridge2

We are from Canada St Johns Newfoundland. My wife is originally from Nigeria.
We first arrived here in Takoradi December 1 2019. Our first experience was not a very delightful one as we were here with the whole family and no place to stay.
The company had a one bedroom apartment for rent for a three person family.
We found it difficult to communicate with the local people even though they speak English.
We find life boring here without friends to talk to and connect with.
Would love to meet a couple like ourselves and see if we can join this group sometime.

Regards
Clyde and Princess Muggridge

Sorry! Not an easy time to be in a new country at the moment. I suggest you try different facebook groups. Ghana International Expats is one and see if you find other people in Takoradi there. Not sure if there is a Takoradi group specifically but there maybe.
If you are religious a church group might help as religion is important here.
Hope you manage to make connections soon
