The normal websites for find an apartment include SeLoger.com and Leboncoin but Leboncoin is usually better because they are usually people trying to rent, although they do include some agencies. You can also try pap.fr because it is people advertising themselves so also no agencies involved. And you could try logicimmo too.

The problem in Paris is that the property moves really fast. Something can be advertised and in a matter of a few days already rented out. So you need to be vigilante and quick in your searching and decision making.

Paris has been on lockdown since the second week of March, and the government keeps extending it again and again. Now is already 3rd May, so even though this current lockdown is supposed to end on 11th May, nobody knows for certain whether or not it will be extended again.

At the moment everyone is supposed to stay at home and you can only go outside to buy food or medicine or if your office or workplace hasn't shut down. The airport I think might still be closed, but I might be wrong. Only 10% of the trains are operating and even that requires a paper authorizing you to travel. The metro is operational but not at 100%.

Anyway, if they do extend the lockdown further it may be even more difficult.
