Just Thinking

Both Hepatitis and Covid-19 are viruses.  Both have an incubation period.

Hep A incubation period 15-45 days
Hep B incubation period 45-160 days
Hep C incubation period 14-180 days

Some people have few or no symptoms (hepatitis) and the virus can be dormant for a long period of time, even years.

I was just thinking could the Covid-19 spread around the world for years with no symptoms or symptoms like a cold? and then mutated to what we have now?

The virus Covid-19 easily spreads, way too easy, maybe it's not spreading and we've been its host for a long time and the some catalyst has set it off.

Something like that!

It would appear getting on a ship really sets it off.

There are strains already circulating, meaning it does mutate easily like Influenza A. So I see that vaccination against it and its mutants will be a constant practice.

They have been "close" to a universal influenza vaccine for a while now.

Hep A and B have a vaccine (3 timed doses) that anyone living in SE Asia should definitely get.  I got my 1st two in the US and the final one in Thailand.

Looking like cruises gonna be the last businesses to get started again.  Could have some casualties as many think it could be until 2021 before the ships sail.  Right now they are spending all the money for cruises people paid at least 90 days in advance then refunding the money once the cruises are cancelled by the cruise line, taking at least 90 days to post the refunds against the method of payment.  I had May cruises cancelled by Royal Caribbean on 3/19/20, no refunds yet.  Back in February when they were just cancelling Asia cruises I got my refund in 5 days, different game now.
