Help from the government

Post new topic

I have read that in Belgium there are lots of kinds of help to the people, for example when they have kids the government gives them an ammount of money until they are 18.

Is it true?   Where can I find out about other kinds of "help"?

only if you are a citizen its called family allowance here in uk and if you are not working you can claim social security welfare states look after its citizens

^ What they said. You can't just come into the country and take money. It's there/available due to all the high taxes people pay here. If you're not a citizen, paying into all those taxes, you can't just go collect from it.

I am not a citizen but I am worker and I pay taxes!! but I have been here only 6 months and I cant be citizen until I have 5 years living here.

I just want to be well informed about this matter for the future.   Not only if I have kids, but other kinds of helps as well.
