siphoplait

Hello, i'm sipho.
and i'm living in panama
in a couple of months i'm going to live in rotterdam for my work,
the thing i'm most concerned about is getting an insurance.
i hope you can tell me some things i need to know about getting an insurance!

thnx

Julien

Hi siphoplait, have you checked the health insurance Netherlands page?

You should contact Medibroker, they've got all you need for your peace of mind while living in the Netherlands ...

siphoplait

hello julian, thanks for your reply.

I've already seen that page. but i dont want to get an insurance with help of an international broker. i want to have direct contact with an insurance company from the netherlands.
so I wander what your experiences are with your ensurance company, where there any difficulties along the traject? like communication for example?

when i'm ill or when my family back home is ill, is there an insurance for the flight back home? or something like that?

and what about the health care? how about the General Practitioners?

i hope you can give me some information about this

Hola Sipho,
Do you speaK  Spanish??? I am Colombian woman and I live here in Rotterdam since 10 years ago.
I Think the best way is if you take contact with insurance company. Dont worry about the language in Holland almost people speak English. The advies from Jullien is ok you can see this web Health Insurance Netherlands.

Hi

I can give you some insurance company's name. You can even call and talk to them to know more about insurance details. Kindly google the following names:  Zilveren Kruis, OHRA, ASR

The above are the compaines with nominal insurance rates. All you have to do is call them and give them your details. You will be receiving a mail from them in just 2-3 days. The details that they will be asking you is a copy proof of your day of entry in Netherlands along with a copy of your residence permit. Also insurance may be apprx.100 euros per person/ month inclusive of dental.
