Bahrain New visa

Post new topic

Sahil0555

I have been Interviewed by Bahrain's Company before 18 days and I got selected. Due to visa restrictions, Company is saying to wait. I read at some online news portals of Bahrain that international flights for Bahrain are going to open soon.

Can anybody give me information that when companies of Bahrain will able to Sponsor a new visa to the foreign worker living outside of Bahrain.?

(Currently, I am living in India)

XTang

1) International flights are open in Bahrain.  They were never fully closed.  The closures were few and for certain countries (From Bahrain side).  The rest of the closures are determined by other countries e.g. India, your country, has closed flights to Bahrain and not the other way round.  For example, Gulf Air flights are going regularly to the UK, France, Germany, Philippines, Pakistan, Egypt etc.
2) Visas are being issued for people who are already here but no stamping is being done.  For people outside, some of the big companies have been able to get visas for critical positions.  For the rest, no announcement has been made nor any clarity on when that will happen. So you have to wait

Thank you for your answer.

Hi Sahil0555,

I thought I’d share my situation, looks very similar to yours and perhaps proves XTang’s response on my own example.

I have been offered a job with one of the largest companies in Bahrain. The recruitment process started already when pandemic had been full on. Now, I will be travelling to Bahrain (from UK) early September. HR told me that there had been difficulties with visas but they managed to obtain visit visa for myself and the wife to travel in Bahrain (received via email), potentially self-isolate for 14 days at company’s accommodation and, whilst we are already in Bahrain, they would proceed with sorting out work permit.
So seconding to XTang, it is possible to resolve this situation, even travel on visit visa provided the company take care of it for you. Good luck!

Dear InstaPedro,

Thanks for your kind Words but Bahrain have different visa regulation for different Countries. For UK and Western Countries Bahrain give more relaxation in compare to Asian countries. So, this may be the reason behind my visa Issue and also at this time COVID case is drastically raising in india. Indian government have their own restrictions at this time.

Nope instaPedro is right.  As I said, your company, if it has connections, can sort it all out.  Most big companies routinely do it for senior employees but not for all employees. If they are not doing it for you then you have to wait.

I have a friend who came over from the US and there is nowhere with more cases and covid issues than the US right now :).  Another came from Pakistan.  Only thing is that both these guys are senior level people in their companies.
