Highly Skilled Migrant - Residence Permit - Decision Period Extended

Post new topic

expactquery

Hi,
I am a highly skilled migrant in the Netherlands. My employer has applied for my residence permit extension. Initially IND gave a time of 90 days to make a decision and after a month passed by,  IND has extended the decision periods by 2 weeks further. I know they need more information or more research to do.
Anyone has gone through this and what was the end result? And what are the chances of positive decision?

Thank you very much.

Hi again.

If IND has asked either yourself or your employer for further information, then that may explain why; it could also be because of the backlog of applications they are dealing with due to their offices being closed through the COVID pandemic.

I notice that you also may have had an issue getting your TBC test conducted when you first arrived, that may have something to do with it.

One last thing, the results of somebody else's application will have no bearing on whether you get a positive decision or not.

Hope this helps.
