Planning to move to Lisbon

Post new topic

Hi All,
I am from India and have a job offer in Lisbon. I am single and planning to move to Lisbon and considering the offer at the moment. I joined this community to know the details about the cost of Living, and the rental costs in Lisbon. I have done some research in this regard, however this is the first time that I am moving to another country, so I am just trying to understand different things before I take a decision. So I am looking at answers to these questions. Could somebody help me please?

1. How is the cost of living in Lisbon?
2. What are the rental costs in Lisbon? I am single and looking for a studio apartment basically. I may also consider a sharing apartment if required.

Hi, Answering to your questions:

Cost of Living:

Some average expenses (well... sort of, I should say,  some of the items at 10% up to 40% less than what it is there, others are average priced):

- In each of this maps, click in each grey area (county).
- Sort by Relevance / Lowest Price / Most recent / ....
- Click in each home to see photos, details, ...

Here you will find that some of the counties can be really expensives, others are quite affordables.

You can try to check this, starting to search it within the indian community at eg. Odivelas
