You are planning well in advance 
In 12 years from now many things will be different.
Waking up overlooking the ocean and close to Lisbon... I suggest Sintra, Oeiras, Cascais, Almada and Setubal. All of them are well served by train and near the Atlantic ocean. Mafra and Setúbal are interesting choices, but Mafra doesn't have a train, only in Sintra (distance of 20 km) and it's much less touristic than Cascais or Sintra. Setúbal has a train and is 50 km away from Lisbon.
Don't forget that you have other options outside Lisbon, interesting and probably cheaper.
