Covid 19 health certificate 72 hours prior to departure

Hello everyone,

I have a couple of questions regarding the covid test certificate requirement for entry into Cambodia:

1. From Canada, I can only get the covid test results from online portal. I can print it off and can also access it on my phone. Will this online test result from a government recognized lab be acceptable for entry at the airport.

2. In Canada, after taking the test, the results are posted online after 2 to 4 days. Are the 72 hours from date of test or date the result is received?

Any guidance or advise in this regards would be greatly appreciated

Thank You

Hi - I have never been to Canada, so I am no expert. But surely, in every city in the world, there are clinics that do a PCR-Covid test and you come back a day or so later to pick up the result certificate? I was in a very small coastal town in New Zealand, and a local clinic did it for me. I am currently on the island of Naxos, Greece, and I have been told of a clinic here that will do it. And who told you it had to be a government lab? A lot of places in the world dont have access to them. Your best bet is to join a Facebook group, Cambodia Visa and Work Permit group, they have lots of people entering the country and talking about tests etc.

1. You need the original lab result plus a certificate by a doctor,  signed and stamped.  All original papers.  Of course you can take copies but you have to show original test results and certificate.

2. Although correct would be the test time taken 72 hour prior to departure it is accepted that the results are dated 72 hours prior to departure.
Check with the airline if they accept 72 hours before departure as there are reported problems with airlines wanting 72 hours before arrival.

Good luck!

Has anyone who has recently travelled from Toronto to Phnom Penh managed to get a covid test done with results within 72 hours and a certificate signed and stamped by a doctor. I am looking for a clinic where I can get this done. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank You
