Hi,
I am from Yemen . I have offered  job from MyEg company As QA software testing engineer .
I got Approval letter from MDEC in 16 March 2020 and because of covid-19 all ports between countries  were closed .
1 month ago ESD has announced a new portal (MYentry) to apply for entry permission into Malaysia.
My company submitted my application via myentry in 1 Sep 2020.
After 20 days from date of submission my application status was rejected .
My company informed me that they in processing to do appealing with immigration department.
Now , I dont know what can i do .
Is there any chance to approve my application?
How long will take appealing ?
I am very disappointed that I have been waiting for this job since the beginning of 2020
And without any income for me and my familyز

zuber_ali

zuber_ali

alkafaiz

zuber_ali

Chirag Kharwa

Hello Guys !

Is it advisable to leave Malaysia without Entry Approval Letter for return?

zuber_ali

I don't think so you should leave without having approval from DGIM. you must take approval from them and then leave.

saravanan.rajendran

Even my entry is rejected 2nd time without a reason, is there any contact or agency who can help us please

emy123

Hello Guys, i also got a rejection , any idea what i shall do ?

emy123

Have you found out about it ?

saravanan.rajendran

You need to reapply again and try, many applications have already been rejected. Which country are you from?

tanviryasir

As per my knowledge. MyEntry System will approve all applications after CMCO.

Shadab Shaikh

Did anyone get approval?

Jhay Pahila

You need to reapply for appeal.ESD will approve it after 3 appeal

Shadab Shaikh

Are you sure? @jhay

Shadab Shaikh

Guys, did anyone get approval?

Jyotsna Yadav

Hi, even my entry approval letter to Malaysia was rejected. Please share if you get any breakthrough.

tanviryasir

based on your comment. i've applied for 3rd time. lets see.

Jhay Pahila

Hi,

Immigration will reply within 14 days after the submission of the application but fastest rep you will recieve after 5 working days.

If have compliance sure it will be requested in 2 working days by replying in the email.

If long enough morethan 14 days sure it is rejected.

I suggest you to ask company to follow up

AmberSharma

Hi,

I am from India (Mumbai) and my entry application has also been rejected. Please let me know shall I ask my employer to apply again or should enquire with the immigration to understand the reason for rejection.

I got rejection within 4 days of application, I applied on 3rd december, on 7th it went to "in process" status and today it got rejected.

gabiva

Hii everyone, Need help here!

if my special pass appeal was rejected by immigration, can i request the approval from KDN (Ministry of Home Affairs) instead??

Thanks!!

Jhay Pahila

KDN is for approval of quota under skilled workers.
ESD is for foreign workers approval

You need to identify your position if you are applying for special pass you can try to apply at Jalan duta immigration foreign visa department

elleisme

Ministry of Health in Malaysia has put a blank ban on any entry of foreigners into Malaysia. Even Expats who have jobs and local Malaysian spouse in Malaysia if exit they cannot return. So do not get tensed and worried. This is done to control COVID, blame china for the delays. Wait until Malaysia opens its borders which may be in 6 Months. The best advice is to find jobs locally in your country itself or neighbors as the Malaysian economy has imploded and soon locals will demand jobs over foreigners.

akmshasan

Hi all,

I got MDEC approval on 8th Dec, 2020 and my company applied to MyEntry on same day. After three days, it got rejected without mentioning any reasons. Kindly advise what to do now.

AmberSharma

Hi my second application got rejected. It seems third application can only be filled post 10 days now. Any idea if it will get approved third time or am I missing the bigger picture here?

akmshasan

Maklumbalas: Good day Kindly be inform that decision for approval in MyEntry system was made by Director General of Immigration Department Malaysia (DGIM) based in current regulations and government policies during COVID-19 pandemic situation. Thank You

This is the only response my employer got from ESD. Not sure why they are doing this.

gabiva

@Jhay

My job is a call centre job so its under skilled worker? Meaning KDN can give the SP approval? I made an appointment in the HQ immigration in Putrajaya, not sure why you mentioned the one in Jalan Duta?

rbhathiya

Hi,
my second appeal has been rejected too, for my dependent visa for wife

is anyone know why like this, when this gonna fix ?

please help

Nemodot

If you read the news, Malaysian government said clearly that any expat job or foreign worker job must not displace a local. Any job must be advertised locally first and rejected applications will be monitored and interviews can have government observers to ensure compliance.

Jobs such as call centre worker or most IT jobs there are many unemployed Malaysians who can do these jobs. So work permits won't be approved now. Only highly specialised roles will be approved eg expert oil and gas engineers where there is a shortage of locals.

I don't see this changing for several years.

akmshasan

Hi Tanvir,

Have you got approval?

Neddy J

Hi guys, been following this thread before I submitted the justification letter for our employee. We submitted on 28th Dec and got approval for entry on 6th on our first application. I don't have a specific guideline on how to get the approval, but here are few things I think we did right:

- Letter is in Malay language and directed to DGIM
- Explain why the expat is best suited for the role - i.e. experience, skill sets
- Explain that all efforts to get local talent has been exhausted. In our case, we had the vacancy for more than 3 months and also shared the online job post links in the letter
- Explain what is the impact to the company if the expat doesn't get this approval. This needs to be materially adverse impact to the company's business

Hope this helps

frank0520

hi all, anyone else got approved, i applied 2 times for my DP holders entry, it got rejected. I applied on my self, are we supposed to apply through company? Anyone knows anything, that we don't

akmshasan

I just got it approved yesterday after applying 3rd time. Don't give up.

frank0520

really you applied yourself or company? for ur EP or DP?

frank0520

u applied 3 times in how long span? in 1 month.......the agent of our company told us, we can apply on our own. so i applied my self .....anyone applied themselves?

akmshasan

My company applied for both me and my dependent. Follow Neddy's post.
