Equivalence of secondary school qualifications

Hi there,

I moved to Mauritius from India early this year and I am having trouble getting an appropriate equivalence for my secondary school qualifications from National Equivalence Committee (NEC). Since I am an educator by profession so getting an appropriate equivalence is must for me. Due to inappropriate equivalence issued to me, I have suffered loss of several job opportunities and failed to apply for teaching license despite having a post graduation degree. I am still struggling with NEC but they seem to be ignoring my case.

Did anyone here had to apply for equivalence of their secondary school qualifications? How was your experience with NEC in Mauritius? Any suggestions on resolving this matter?

Hi Anu

I suppose you contacted the Mauritius Qualifications Authority and the Tertiary Education Commission.

Please send me a Private Message if you so wish. I could assist.
