I am about to get my documents apostilled for long term D visa. Education documents don't need to be apostilled for visa purposes but should I still get it done anyway? Will it serve any purpose in Belgium for myself or my wife i.e. finding a job or going for higher studies etc.?

Hello,

It's completely useless. What is mandatory to do is to make them validated by ENIC-NARIC system.

Thanks @phipiemar for the link. The website redirected me to https://onderwijs.vlaanderen.be/nl/home for Flemish region but I am still trying to find the correct page on this website about validation of education documents. If you can find the relevant link, please share.

Edit: did found out this link: https://data-onderwijs.vlaanderen.be/ed … ocid=14539 and trying to understand what it means.

Hi,

Here is it https://naricvlaanderen.be/en/home

The one you've got is for the explonation of belgian laws.

Thanks! this is it. I did stumble upon this website earlier and had it in my bookmarks :)
I have given my documents for Apostille and didn't give the education docs as suggested.
