Moving to San Miguel de Allende

Post new topic

Texjim

Hello:

I am new to this.  I am 68 years old, single and retired.  Live in the Houston area.  Would like to move to SMA.  I understand the border crossing is closed until at least Nov 21.  I also understand I can stay in Mexico up to 180 days on stamped passport, and need a permit for my car.  Probably will not be able to go until after first of year.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,  y'all.

Welcome to ex-pat Mexico texjim,

SMA is such a large group that they formed a separate forum on the web site. Your specific questions would be better answered there. general questions about Mexico or other areas of Mexico can be handled in this Mexico dedicated forum.
Good luck with your plans

Texjim

Thank you.

I thought I was addressing separate SMA group.
